Where is the HGTV Dream Home located?
The HGTV Dream Home 2020 is located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina which was named America's Best Island four years in a row. Hilton Head is a coastal island in the South Carolina low country located an hour from Savannah, Georgia and two hours from Charleston, SC.
The dream home is minutes from Hilton Head's 12-mile stretch of Atlantic beach. It's just across the island on the Intracoastal Waterway with views of the saltwater marshes.
"Hilton Head Island is the perfect location for the HGTV Dream Home, as it has become known around the world for its dream-like sunsets, beaches and overall beauty," said Tamara Day, Host of HGTV Dream Home Special.
The property is located in Windmill Harbour, a private community with a marina and 15-acre inland harbor that's also the home of the South Carolina Yacht Club.
Built to capture the coastal spirit of Hilton Head Island, the dream home includes a gourmet kitchen, vast great room, expansive laundry and pet-friendly mudroom and a large, multi-purpose entertaining space upstairs.
The entire home is decorated with organic natural textures and coastal colors for an elegant coastal decor.
